Though our course is mobile friendly, ClickSafety does have the preferred browser of Google Chrome. Users taking their course on iOS devices are recommended to take the following steps to disable cross site tracking, allow cookies and allow popups. All are required to ensure we are capturing all necessary data for course completions.
Here's how to do all three on your iPad:
1. Open Safari settings
- Go to the Settings app (not inside Safari itself)
- Scroll down and tap Apps, then tap Safari (on older iOS versions, Safari appears directly in the main Settings list without the "Apps" step)
2. Allow cross-site tracking
- Under the Privacy section, find Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
- Turn the toggle off (gray) — this is on by default, so you're disabling Apple's tracking prevention Safari limits third-party cookies and data by default; turning this option off allows cross-site tracking Apple
3. Allow cookies
- Scroll down to Advanced
- Find Block All Cookies
- Make sure it's toggled off (gray) — if it's already off, cookies are already allowed this enables cookies when turned off, and blocks all cookies when turned on Clym
4. Allow pop-ups
- Still in Settings > Safari, find Block Pop-ups
- Turn it off
